Cook Questions Captaincy Role

By Dan Rankin

England captain Alastair Cook has raised questions over his continued role, as the fall out from the Ashes Tour shambles continues.....

England are staring down the barrel of a 5-0 whitewash, after throwing away the chance of a morale boosting win in Melbourne at the boxing day test.

Cook said of questions over him continuing as captain "I 100% want to carry on," Cook said.

"In a strange way I'm enjoying the job. "I'm totally responsible as captain for the team, and if at the end of the series the selectors decide I'm not the best man for the job then so be it."
