Early morning rain at Lord's, has seen cricket fans waiting before heading to the home of cricket, for the World Cup Final clash between England and New Zealand. Just what will the day bring in terms of the clouds and any sunshine that will come later in the day?

A cool cloudy morning at Lord's is bringing some early rain, and sees the covers over the wicket that is green in colour for the match.

The rain will however clear by around 9am, but is still falling as the players arrive at the ground.

It will hamper early morning warm up routines for both England and New Zealand, as they head to the nets.

The weather will clear, but remain cloudy for the toss and ealy part of the game, so will be a good question on what the captains will do on who wins the toss.

Afternoon sunshine is due around 3pm, with temperatures not due to rise until around 2pm to about 21 degrees.

It's all about the rain stopping and clearing for the 10:30 start time, with millions around the globe tuning in.
