Pick a side from what's available Mike and then see what you can do! Oh and by the way Mike..you're doung everything! Everyone is semi-injured and we draft in the youngsters and the oldsters to put 11 on the pitch. Sun is shining and we have a side on the pitch though it bears no resemblance to the one in the program! No Francis J, no Gazzard, no McLean, no Johnson, no Dutch, no Turner. In comes Gareth Andrew, Simon Francis, Peter Bowler, Michael Parsons, Matt Wood and Keith Parsons with Burns opening, captaining and keeping. Make-shift or what? But circumstances are what they are! We won the toss & put em in wwith Caddick and Parsons M opening from the pavilion and sports centre end respectively. Parsons carries on as he has with a wicket with his first one day over and Maddy returns to the one real building at Bath for zilch. 6 overs gone and the ball is kicking, Mike Parsons is looking good but it's 35 for one and a long hot day in prospect. By the 10 Francis has replaced Parsons, Hodge has been given 'hit wicket' when one reared on a length and it's 51 for 2. Hodge didn't seem too happy if the sound of his bat hitting the pavilion wall was anything to go by.
