Baby Photo A

it’s the long awaited Middlesex Till We Die (MTWD) baby photo Christmas game. Ten baby photos of MTWD stalwarts. Sixteen names of MTWD stalwarts. (Six names are ringers). Match the names to the baby photos. Perhaps win a miniscule prize. Simples. Good luck and have fun, everyone.

And finally, it’s the long awaited Middlesex Till We Die (MTWD) baby photo Christmas game.

What could be simpler?

Ten baby photos of MTWD stalwarts.

Sixteen names of MTWD stalwarts.  (Do the math, that means that six names are ringers).

Match the names to the baby photos.

Perhaps win a miniscule prize.

Simples.

Tie breaker: my earliest memory of following Middlesex CCC is……………………………… (no more than 100 words).

This is like the mystery guest round of A Question of Sport in that I am not going to be able to identify the people unless I know what they look in their usual state.

There are only five people on the list who I can confidently say I can identify in their usual state as I tend not to socialise when I go to cricket as I dislike human interaction.

The guests on this Friday's Question of Sport will be the original 'sicknote' Darren Anderton, Anne Keothavong, Paul McGinley and Alan Curbishley.

Barmy Kev has been known to win competitions here at MTWD with a mere 10%, JW.

Even zero human interaction should not prevent people from obtaining 10% minimum in this game!

I did managed to find a cute photo of me. What went wrong latterly I hear you say.

Meanwhile JW if you're not busy perhaps you can find a link to the Kingsdown scorecard on pic 1. Declaring 42-8, I guess Justin Langer was captain at time.

Are you Baby Photo E by any chance, Kev?

As for Kev's suggestion that his photo is cute, he has given me an idea for a mini poll, which will follow presently on a mini poll thread.

This game is a bit fo Christmas fun and is meant to be a guessing game.

Actually, I reckon that knowing 5 people on that list gives you a slight advantage, JW, as most MTWD readers would know fewer than 5.

But only a very slight advantage, I reckon that only 2 or 3 of the pictures (at most) have clear cureent resemblances.
And one of those should ensure that everyone gets at leats 10% in this game.

In short, we're encouraging everyone to have a go for fun.

Responses are coming in thick and fast.

Well, thick anyway.

Just to remind everyone of the normal MTWD game rules, you may put in as many entries as you like but only your last entry before the deadline will qualify.

That means you might as well have a go now, even if you wnat to have a bit more of a think ahead of the deadline.

Fewer than 72 hours to go, folks, to get your entries in for this simple game.

It is largely a game of chance, so I'd expect to see a good few more of you having a go before the Thursday deadline.

You have absolutely nothing to lose, not even pride. But just think of that potential prize!!

Less than 24 hours to go, folks and the entries are pouring in, although some of "the usual suspects" have not yet had a go.

Go for it, folks, it's just a bit of fun.
