Away reporting Template and Guide

This season we hope to encourage our away supporters to provide some additional colour and ratings to inform other Middlesex supporters about away matches.

The template is available for our intrepid away-match reporters to use, through Google Docs (Click through below):

MTWD away report template

The template is a guide which should help all of us but particularly will help people who are not used to reporting.  You can follow it "religiously" if you wish, but more experienced reporters will probably choose to freeform around it, using it more as a checklist than a template.  Some of the points are not applicable in all circumstances for a start.

We do want every away reporter to have a go at the ratings, though, which takes a few seconds.

We are also encouraging supporters from other counties to use this template to submit reports to us and rate Middlesex.

You can copy and paste the whole template from Googledocs back into Word and it is in very good shape.

Copy and paste - perhaps you don't know how to do this when you are not inside an application.  4 steps:

1st - highlight the stuff you want to copy and paste (in this case the whole template in Googledocs).

2nd - hold down the "ctrl" and press "c", after which you release both buttons.

3rd - open word with a blank document.

4th - hold down the "ctrl" and press "v", after which you release both buttons.

You can practice this procedure merely copying small bits of text around an e-mail - it is a "windows-wide" convention.

If you'd prefer the original Word version of the template, just e-mail us at:

mtwdadmin@googlemail.com

and we'll e-mail it to you.

Happy away reporting!
