Before we all forget and lapse into post season blues here is a pictorial view of the amazing Grace Road experience. Many thanks to Barmy Kev, Beefy, Kimmy and especially Mark O'Neill for their contributions

Serious Warm up. We can do it.

Vermin Corner. One of their more relaxed moments. Its not 20/20

Now let's look at the table again.

Lunch day 4. We are nearly there. Are we?

 6-4-6. We've done it.

Championes Championes . Ole Ole Ole.

The fans go wild in celebration.

And more to help us celebrate

How can I thank you?

No you can't take the trophy home!

And in case you have forgotten

WINTER WELL EVERYBODY

I am sure that everyone who was lucky to be at Grace Road on 15th September enjoyed themselves. Sadly, the only company I had that afternoon was Kevin Hand's commentary and my mum, although I was nonetheless very happy when Gareth Berg hit the winning runs. Hopefully the club will allow me to get my hands on the trophy at some point.

Feeling a bit down, particularly after reading the Express yesterday.Their headlines stating we could be in for a very cold winter, something to do with El Nino or something like that.I hate the short days and the cold and the snow.

It was therefore great to see the pictures on this thread which brought back to life those wonderful memorable 4 days at Grace Road.

Well done to everybody who took the pictures and also thanks to everyone for the wonderful company.

The message here, LP, is clearly not to read the Express!

Lovely pictures though; I was working in Egypt at the time and listening to the commentary at the end of the day's work was what I most looked forward to. For me it was definitely one of those 'where were you when....?' moments.

I really wish I had gone up to GR for that game. It looks like it was a truly memorable day having seen the youtube fan highlights package done by one of you. Does anyone know if there is a full season highlights package to be found anywhere? Would like to relive the whole glorious season (apart from the T20s perhaps!)....

You can enquire on Middlesex Facebook or e mail the club 'enquiries@middlesexccc.com'. The Grace Road footage was a 1 off, but there maybe other bits and pieces available via the Internet.

I had a photo sent to me today from a committee member, many thanks sir, which is added to report captioned by The fans go wild in celebration.

Brings back more memories of one of the best sporting days of my life.

It was an excellent 4 days at Grace Road although i did hear a few comments aimed at those of you sat in vermin corner, "puerile & stupid" by one elderly supporter!

"Puerile and stupid" tomcat ..... that would be us but unlike the "senior" mentioned we were there for all 4 days of the game and didn't just rock up on the last day.

Bit of a "homer" who decided to use his free railcard for the day I reckon and a bit of a dampner on an otherwise very good day.

The fact that Beefy spent at least 20 mins googling puerile was quite funny though.

Diamond, i'm surprised you remember the puerile & stupid comment seeing the amount of "dish water" from the bar you were throwing down your neck!!!!

Next season i'll introduce you to a proper drink and hopefully you might keep up one day!!

Tomcat,

I plead "not guilty" to "dishwatering " on the final day of the season on the grounds that every constabulary between Leicestershire and South Wales would have had a field day with my driving licence had I over imbided on that day.

As for the three days prior to this.....I'll take the fifth.
