This is first of our winter caption competitions. Our Kimmy is batting at Uxbridge at the end of our miserable 20/20 campaign. Kimmy will judge the winner (so go easy on her) who will have a choice of a world famous MTWD miniscule prize or the privelege of judging next month. The deadline is 5th November. Good luck

OK. It's me for starters. Scott Newman is worried about his place in the side as our new trainee opener gets some extra practise in[i][/i]

Wicket looks a tad green Kimmy and you need a looser fitting skirt, as that front knee needs to bend a bit allowing you to get your head in a better position and to transfer your minimal weight into the stroke. Good to see you exhaling on contact as we are told that allows for a shot free from tension.

After the chairs were stacked,and Hazels Elderflower wine was finished,Kimmy decides to show of her Gurning skills whilst trying her best to send the ball for 6.

I don't seem to be doing as well as Boycott's granny could with a stick of rhurbarb.
Her stance is wrong,she can't hold the bat properly and she keeps missing the ball can you explain again why you want her in the team Gareth?

The poor unfortunate soul who informed Kimmy of the Iceman's long term injury found themselves hurled in to orbit over Uxbridge Common - followed by a stackload of chairs....
