Beefy reports by text to Barmy Kev ( BK) on today's action with a contribution from Seaxe Man. Apart from the prolonged delay before the inevitable defeat we hear about care regarding the sound mike and someone confused with his binoculars.

Didn't make the task any easier. Let's hope for warmer weather and better fortune soon.
Considering Harris and Roland-Jones were carrying injuries, they batted well and Helm is also to be applauded. We can only hope that their stoic attitude will influence their colleagues.

The reality is as a club we in div 2 and carrying lots of old wood. A good clear out is needed and i would back youngsters to learn and come good with time.All have good pedigrees just need oppotunities.
You have made a strong case, Fivestar which the club appears to be currently operating. If the more established participants are not performing then one must consider experimenting with the younger candidates. We may begin to see some more younger selections.
