Andrew Strauss recieved his first England call up today when he was called up for the England one-day squad for the forthcoming tours of Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The call comes on the back of some superbe perfomances with the bat and in the field this year. We wish him good luck on the tour. Graveny on Straussy's call up:
"Andrew Strauss has performed well in both forms of the county game this season and his inclusion will give us another batting option and also maintain the high standards of fielding we are seeking to achieve in one-day cricket."
