Middlesex moved one step closer to promotion with a draw against Northants. After declaring on 400/4, Middlesex set about securing as many bowling bonus points as possible. They bowled Northants out before the close. The 'Sex are now 12.5 points clear with a game in hand over second placed Essex. Middlesex 1st innings
