By MTWD Admin

First caption competition of the season. Let's hope plenty of us have the vision to put up something  eye catching.

Adelaide the winner back in March will be the judge on who's going to judge the next one.

My offering.

The far left advertising board makes a statement regarding the vision behind the 100.

This sign functions like the Middlesex batting order.

No wonder I couldn't see the ball. Everything was upside down. Shouldn't have gone to Specsavers.

I know, I know but our Aussie coach insisted.

In the modern game, it's important that we cover all angles

ECB announce latest rule change for the hundred.

Umpires to stand on their heads, as this will mean their eyes will be closer to the ground, so should improve LBW and slip catch decisions.

Spec savers are head over heels about sponsoring the County Championship.

Colin Graves and Chunky bump into each other at Lord's. Chunky asks :" How do you think the 100 will work out.

Response " Aye oop lad it's going to be a success and this is the future of cricket. But aye oop I'm more worried about that upside down Specsaver sign.

Chunky "Umpires to stand on their heads, as this will mean their eyes will be closer to the ground, so should improve LBW and slip catch decisions"

"Aye opp that's a bit far fetched".

Chunky " Well you started it

MCC want to make more of an effort to acknowledge MCCC achievements. They agreed the far left was deliberately placed to depict how we have moved on since we won the County Championship.

Time to judge. Regrettably Lady "Spiderwoman" Hale is unavailable.

While I like anything that has a go at the Hundred on principle, I'm going to for rthe black humour of Dingy Bags and

"This sign functions like the Middlesex batting order."

Congrats, DB.

I thought Adelaide would have picked his own. No, so congrats to Dingy . You now have a choice of a miniscule drink which you won't enjoy or the privelege of judging next month's competition?

Well done to all who contributed . Some good long sighted efforts.

Adelaide, I would worry that your sense of humour seems to coincide with mine! Open-topped bus booked.

I elect to judge next month's effort.
