MTWD's first official unofficial player of month is the Iceman due to some outstanding performances in April. As promised there will be a formal informal presentation for each month's winner by a MTWD stalwart and we thought Kimmy would be the best person for our April winner.
And here is, courtesy of MTWD, a medal with inscription and a bottle of bubbly, fizzy water to be precise. MTWD do not quite have the same budget as IGNIS.
This presented before Day 2 of Glamargon game. Congratulations to the Iceman (and Kimmy)

I was hopeful that these presentations would be pre-publicised so that anyone wishing to view them could do so. Anyway, congratulations to the Iceman for convincingly winning this award.

Sorry JW The Grosvenor House was fully booked and my tux is away at the cleaners in preparation for Vic's charity do so it was a no no , did try though.
To be honest it's a bit of an appreciation of our lads by a fan site not the flipping PFA awards.

I was just saying it would have been nice had everyone been told when and where the presentation would be made, and everyone wishing to view it could have gathered round. As someone who cares very deeply about Middlesex and MTWD, it would have been nice to witness those two organisations coming together. I don't feel there is a great need for the presentation to be transferred from the Lord's Nursery Ground to the Grosvenor Hotel, as we could have still all gathered round the Nursery Ground.
JW being officially unofficial this cannot be done as a high key presentation during a break in the game. I think Ignis who have more financial clout than MTWD would be rightly peed off and thanks to MTWD our club could lose this valuable sponsorship.
This months was set up at short notice. But for next month we will give prior notice on here and if a few including you Jonathan wish to witness this live you'd be most welcome. It won't be Kimmy doing presentation next as we do hope to spread the privilege amongst all MTWD stalwarts.

We have to fit in around the club and players...
The award was to be presented after the CB40 game on tuesday, however the iceman wasn't available, either for us or to carry out his 'offical' interview, therefore our presentation was set up at short notice and was carried out at 9am on Friday morning... (incidently Kev and I needed permission to enter Lords at such an early time!)
Our aim will be to publicize when they are taking place, this was the first one and I hope by September's one we will have it off pat...
I have to say that the iceman was a good sport and dexy was there in support and was heard to say the he was very jealous and really wanted to win!!
My thanks goes to the iceman.... you truly are a good sport and a true gent as well as being MTWD player of the month for April!!
