Here's the first Caption Competition of the close season
Now the winter is upon us , inbetween some great articles there will be a monthly caption competition. The prize is either a miniscule one or the great privilege of judging next months competition. I recall Diamond won the last competion so he will be the judge. So food for thought with the first image above. The deadline is sometime beginning of October. Good luck!

tried to juggle the bat but missed it,so being clever i just caught it in my mouth
After the success with the archery olympic event,MCC are doing trial event for next summer,called 'Bat Catching'
First prize this month goes to......drum roll......
Superb effort, topical and funny too.
Close second Beecooleone's linseed gag and in third Chunky's Nora effort.
