Brushes with Greatness

ANYONE OUT THERE BEEN IN THE MIDST OF MIDDLESEX CRICKETERS? SUSSEX SEAXE SHARES HIS EXPERIENCE BRUSHING WITH FRED TITMUS (RIP) WIF SLACK (RIP) WAYNE DANIEL AND JOHN PRICE INSPIRED BY A "SONG".

This is a lighthearted opportunity to record occasions when you might have bumped into Middlesex players, past or present, in unexpected circumstances. Partly inspired by Half Man Half Biscuit's never to be forgotten ditty, 'F$&*"!g Hell, it's Fred Titmus, allegedly prompted by seeing him on a railway station, a park and somewhere else I've forgotten, in a short space of time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWfmDIiax_8.  ( anyone offended by bad language please don't open)
 
My own memorable brush was queuing up in the Sea Fayre restaurant in Finchley, when I suddenly realised that behind me in the line for fish and chips were Wayne Daniel and Wilf Slack. We were all on our way home from playing cricket, sadly my own game was not at Lord's but at the slightly less renowned Littleton Playing Fields. I was too tongue tied to say anything, to my lasting regret. I'm sure they would have been interested to hear about my innings of 33.
 
On one occasion, John Price stopped his car at a zebra crossing to allow me across Ballards Lane, but that's another story!
