Although this blog item chronicles the county championship fixtures between the two old rivals from oop north in the 1990s, it is worth pointing out that probably the two most famous encounters between the roses counties in this decade were a pair of one-day semi-finals in 1996. Unhappily for Yorkshire, Lancashire managed to win both, including an epic one wicket triumph in the Benson and Hedges Cup. During this decade: YORKSHIRE 4 wins, Lancashire 3 wins, 6 draws.See: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_rPMO811TQ&sns=emSee: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQDOdxEJnWk&sns=em
