Yorkshire's reserve wicketkeeper-batsman Andy Hodd blasted an impressive ton which went a long way towards ensuring a comfortable one-day triumph against Warwickshire second eleven. Dan Hodgson chipped in with five catches during Warwickshire's forlorn run chase. Meanwhile, young James Wainman bowled very well to ruthlessly mop up the Warwickshire tail from eleven deliveries.
Hodd was assisted by a third-wicket century stand with his captain Jonny Tattersall. His heroic effort featured six fours and four sixes. This was a convincing win, and those of a white rose disposition will be hoping that the second eleven's personnel can all kick on from here.
