Ross Whiteley just loves playing against Yorkshire. He was one of five semi-centurions who piled on the runs against the Tykes. Not even an outstanding stand from the in-form duo of Kohler-Cadmore (against his former team) and Pujara could quite launch a successful run chase. Brook flopped again, as every Yorkshire wicket fell to a catch. Cox and Fell grabbed seven catches between the pair of them. With two consecutive defeats once more at home, Yorkshire look well placed to successfully avoid one-day silverware again. They are leaving themselves little margin for error, after this characteristically close defeat. A few narrow victories wouldn't go amiss for a change!
